These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern laundry pickup, wash, dry, fold, delivery, and related services provided under the Laundry Valet brand.
Laundry Valet is a laundry service operated by Crown Standard Cleaning, LLC. Throughout these Terms, “Laundry Valet,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Crown Standard Cleaning, LLC doing business through the Laundry Valet service.
By scheduling a pickup, placing an order, submitting laundry for service, creating an account, or otherwise using Laundry Valet, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
Laundry Valet provides professional pickup and delivery wash, dry, and fold services for ordinary household clothing and eligible lightweight linens.
Laundry is processed according to the service level, preferences, and applicable add-ons selected by the customer, subject to these Terms and our professional judgment regarding safe and appropriate garment care.
Customer orders are kept separate from other customers' laundry during processing.
Laundry Valet does not provide dry-cleaning services.
Our standard service is intended primarily for machine-washable clothing and lightweight household linens, including items such as clothing, towels, sheets, and pillowcases.
We do not accept items requiring dry cleaning or specialized textile care, including, but not limited to:
Laundry Valet reserves the right to refuse any individual item or entire order that falls outside the scope of our services.
Laundry Valet will use reasonable professional care when processing customer laundry.
When garment care labels are present and reasonably legible, we will make reasonable efforts to follow the manufacturer's laundering instructions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that items submitted for service are suitable for machine washing and drying unless Hang Dry service has been selected for the applicable garment.
Laundry Valet is not responsible for damage resulting from inaccurate, missing, or illegible care labels; manufacturer defects; weak or deteriorated fabric; improperly attached decorations; unstable dyes; normal shrinkage; color loss; color bleeding; pilling; worn seams; buttons, zippers, embellishments, decals, adhesives, or other components that fail during ordinary laundering.
If a customer specifically requests treatment contrary to a manufacturer's care instructions, Laundry Valet may refuse the request or require the item to be processed at the customer's risk.
Our standard turnaround time is up to 72 hours from pickup.
Turnaround times are estimates and may be affected by order size, selected services, treatment requirements, equipment availability, weather, road conditions, utility interruptions, holidays, unusually high demand, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Service requested in less than our standard 72-hour turnaround is considered Express Service.
Express Service:
Selecting or requesting Express Service does not guarantee acceptance until confirmed by Laundry Valet.
Wash, dry, and fold services are generally priced by weight according to the service selected.
A $20 minimum order applies to wash, dry, and fold orders unless a different minimum is expressly stated.
Prices, add-ons, promotions, service-area charges, and other fees are those displayed on our website, ordering platform, or otherwise disclosed at the time of service.
Laundry is weighed as part of processing. The weight determined by Laundry Valet's scale will be used to calculate the final weight-based charge.
Prices may change from time to time. Changes will not retroactively alter the price of services already completed.
Pickup and delivery are included within Laundry Valet's designated standard Las Cruces service area unless otherwise stated.
Customers outside the standard service area may be accommodated based on availability and may be charged an additional pickup or delivery fee.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate:
Laundry must be accessible at the scheduled pickup location and during the applicable pickup window.
If Laundry Valet arrives at the scheduled pickup location and no laundry is available for collection, the customer may be charged our applicable Nothing to Pick Up Fee.
This fee compensates Laundry Valet for the scheduled route stop, travel, and employee time.
The current fee will be disclosed through our website, ordering system, or scheduling process.
Customers should reschedule or cancel before the applicable cutoff if they will not have laundry available.
Customers may authorize Laundry Valet to pick up or leave laundry at an unattended location.
When unattended service is requested, the customer is responsible for selecting a reasonably safe, accessible, and weather-protected location.
Once completed laundry has been delivered to the location designated or authorized by the customer, responsibility for the laundry transfers back to the customer.
Laundry Valet is not responsible for theft, loss, weather exposure, animals, third-party interference, or other damage occurring after properly completing an unattended delivery.
Standard wash and fold pricing covers ordinary household laundry and normal levels of everyday soil.
Laundry that requires materially more cleaning than an ordinary load may require Heavy Soil Treatment.
Examples may include laundry with:
Heavy Soil Treatment is subject to the applicable fee shown on our current Pricing page or ordering system.
Customers should select Heavy Soil Treatment when they reasonably know their laundry requires additional cleaning.
However, Laundry Valet may determine after pickup or inspection that Heavy Soil Treatment is necessary even if the customer did not select it when placing the order.
When reasonably practicable, we may notify the customer of a significant additional charge before proceeding.
Heavy Soil Treatment does not guarantee complete removal of odors, stains, pet hair, discoloration, or other conditions.
Heavy Soil Treatment does not mean Laundry Valet accepts hazardous or severely contaminated laundry.
Laundry Valet may refuse laundry containing or suspected of containing conditions including, but not limited to:
If an unacceptable condition is discovered anywhere within a customer's bag or order, Laundry Valet may refuse to process the entire bag or order.
We are not required to sort through a contaminated or unsafe bag to determine which individual garments may be acceptable.
The entire affected bag may be isolated and returned unwashed.
The fact that Laundry Valet accepted or transported a bag at pickup does not mean that its contents have been approved for processing. Laundry may be refused after inspection at our processing location.
Laundry Valet reserves the right to take reasonable measures necessary to protect employees, equipment, facilities, and other customers' property.
Stain Treatment is available for eligible garments at the current per-item rate.
Customers should identify known stains whenever possible.
Stain removal is performed on a best-effort basis only.
Laundry Valet does not guarantee that any stain can or will be completely removed. Stain removal success depends on numerous factors, including stain type, fabric, age of the stain, previous cleaning attempts, heat exposure, dyes, and garment construction.
Laundry Valet may decline further stain treatment when additional treatment could reasonably damage the garment.
Hang Dry or Air Dry service is available for eligible garments at the applicable per-item rate.
Customers are responsible for clearly identifying garments that should not be machine dried.
Laundry Valet does not provide hangers.
If the customer wants an item returned on a hanger, the customer must provide an appropriate hanger with the order.
Unless otherwise arranged, air-dried garments may be returned folded after drying.
Laundry Valet may offer optional services such as:
Availability and pricing may vary.
Selecting an add-on does not guarantee a particular result when the outcome depends on fabric condition, stains, odors, manufacturer construction, or other factors beyond Laundry Valet's control.
Laundry Valet may offer fragrance-free or Free & Clear laundry-care options at no additional charge where indicated.
Customers are responsible for selecting their preferred laundry-care options when placing an order.
While Laundry Valet takes reasonable steps to follow customer preferences, our equipment and facility may also process scented laundry products.
Accordingly, we cannot guarantee a completely fragrance-free, allergen-free, or residue-free environment.
Customers with severe allergies, chemical sensitivities, or medical concerns should consider whether a shared commercial laundry environment is appropriate for their needs.
Customers are responsible for emptying all pockets before submitting laundry.
Laundry Valet employees may make reasonable efforts to identify objects found during sorting, but we do not guarantee that every pocket will be inspected or that every object will be discovered.
Laundry Valet is not responsible for:
Laundry Valet is also not responsible for damage to garments or other laundry caused by objects the customer left in pockets or within the laundry.
If valuable property is discovered, we will make reasonable efforts to return it.
Laundry Valet processes each customer's order separately from other customers' orders.
We do not intentionally combine one customer's wash load with another customer's laundry.
Individual orders may be divided into multiple washer or dryer loads when reasonably necessary for proper cleaning, machine capacity, fabric care, color separation, or selected services.
A valid payment method may be required to place or process an order.
Laundry Valet uses an integrated online ordering and payment system. Third-party technology providers may facilitate ordering, payment authorization, card storage, and transaction processing. CleanCloud, for example, publicly states that its system supports online ordering and securely stored cards for repeat customers.
By providing a payment method and submitting laundry for service, the customer authorizes Laundry Valet and its applicable payment providers to charge the payment method on file for the final amount due.
The final charge may include:
Laundry Valet generally calculates the final charge after the laundry has been processed, when final weight and applicable services can be determined.
An estimate displayed when scheduling is not necessarily the final charge.
By submitting an order, the customer authorizes the final properly calculated amount to be charged to the payment method on file.
If payment is declined, Laundry Valet may delay delivery, suspend future service, request another payment method, or take other reasonable steps to collect the outstanding balance.
We want customers to receive laundry that meets our service standards.
If a customer believes an item was not properly cleaned, the customer should contact Laundry Valet within 24 hours of delivery and provide reasonable information or photographs regarding the concern.
When appropriate, Laundry Valet may offer a complimentary rewash of the affected laundry.
The affected laundry must not have been worn, used, altered, washed, treated, or processed by another person or business after delivery.
A complimentary rewash is generally the first remedy for a cleaning-quality complaint.
A rewash does not guarantee removal of stains, odors, discoloration, pet hair, or conditions that could not reasonably be removed through normal laundering.
Laundry Valet will use reasonable care in handling customer property.
Customers should report suspected loss or damage within 24 hours of delivery.
Claims should include sufficient information to identify the item and, when reasonably available, evidence of its condition and value.
Laundry Valet may investigate the order, processing records, photographs, route information, or other available information before resolving a claim.
If Laundry Valet determines that an eligible item was lost or damaged due to our handling, our liability will be limited, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to no more than three (3) times the attributable cleaning charge for the affected item, unless Laundry Valet voluntarily agrees to another resolution.
Because wash-and-fold laundry is commonly priced by total weight rather than individually by garment, Laundry Valet may reasonably determine the affected item's attributable cleaning charge based on its estimated weight and the service rate applicable to the order.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Laundry Valet is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control or the inherent characteristics or preexisting condition of an item, including:
The liability limitation above does not apply where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.
Because laundry is delivered in folded and packaged form, customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery.
Any missing-item claim should be reported within 24 hours.
Laundry Valet will make reasonable efforts to locate an item reported missing. Reporting an item missing does not itself establish that Laundry Valet received or lost the item.
Promotional offers, including first-order discounts, may be subject to eligibility requirements, expiration dates, order minimums, service-area restrictions, or other conditions disclosed with the offer.
Unless specifically stated otherwise:
Laundry Valet will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled pickups, deliveries, and turnaround estimates.
We are not responsible for reasonable delays caused by events outside our control, including severe weather, unsafe road conditions, traffic incidents, utility outages, equipment failures, vehicle problems, emergencies, government restrictions, natural disasters, labor disruptions, or other unexpected circumstances.
When practical, we will communicate significant delays to affected customers.
Laundry Valet reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service when reasonably necessary, including for:
Refusing an unsafe item or order does not obligate Laundry Valet to process any portion of that order.
By creating an account or placing an order, customers agree that Laundry Valet may send communications reasonably necessary to provide the service, including pickup reminders, driver updates, order-status notifications, payment notices, delivery information, and customer-service communications.
Marketing communications may be subject to separate consent and opt-out rights as required by applicable law.
Laundry Valet may use third-party providers for online ordering, payment processing, communications, routing, and other business functions.
Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Laundry Valet will handle customer information in accordance with our applicable Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Laundry Valet may modify services, service areas, prices, add-ons, policies, or these Terms from time to time.
The current version of these Terms will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
Changes generally apply prospectively and do not retroactively change a completed transaction unless required by law.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Laundry Valet's decision not to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.
These Terms and Laundry Valet services are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies.
Any rights or protections provided to consumers by applicable law remain in effect notwithstanding anything in these Terms.
Questions regarding an order, these Terms, or Laundry Valet policies may be submitted through the contact methods provided on the Laundry Valet website or ordering platform.
